As I have said before a new Business & start up is a very stressful time. It is when you are taking a gamble that can change your life for better, or worse. You could make a lot of money, but you could also lose a lot of money as well. Therefore, planning and preparation is essential if you want to be successful.

I would say this is the essential part of the research, so take the time to research your keywords thoroughly. There are many keyword research tools on the internet, but the two I would recommend are Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery. I would recommend them, quite simply, because I have found them to be the best.

Keyword Discovery is more expensive, but it has more features, so it boils down to what type of research you like doing, and how much you want to pay I personally find Wordtracker’s features are adequate for my keyword research. But in the end the decision is up to you.

Since the business is going to take time and hard work, it is important to choose a business you love, because you are more likely to stick with it when the going gets tough. You also need to know as much about “your” product because your customers will expect you to be an expert on the subject.

Remember, it needs to be a product people are actually looking for and wanting to buy. No matter how passionate you feel about your business it is the customer you have to please. No Customer = No new Business & start up.
